We are pleased to announce the formation of the Slovak-Czech Association for Play Therapy (SCAPT). IC-PTA was instrumental in mentoring the organizational development of SCAPT in collaboration with local play therapists.
IC-PTA’s mentoring efforts with SCAPT is one way that we are fulfilling our mission to support the establishment of National Play Therapy Associations (NPTAs) worldwide who aim for quality professional practice, training, and supervision in their countries. The overarching aim is to provide children in every country with the opportunity to access quality Play Therapy services.
The Slovak-Czech Association for Play Therapy (SCAPT) is convening an inaugural conference in September 4-11, 2024. For more details click here: When Play Heals. The conference and trainings will be in English and Slovak.
